Assistant Food & Beverage Manager | Operations & Guest Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Food & Beverage Manager in the comprehensive daily operations of our restaurant and F&B department.
  • Oversee and manage all banquet services, from coordination and setup to execution, ensuring flawless events.
  • Ensure exceptional service and quality across all dining experiences, maintaining high standards for guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with inventory management and operational efficiency within the F&B department.
  • Manage customer inquiries and feedback directly, implementing solutions to enhance guest experiences.
  • Support the growth of the golf course and restaurant through participating in targeted social media and marketing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the hospitality or Food & Beverage industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in event coordination or banquet management.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant and F&B operations.
  • Excellent leadership qualities and ability to motivate a team.
  • Highly detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in marketing or social media management is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings.

Golf Outside Operations Staff

The Golf Outside Operations Staff is responsible for creating a positive first and last impression for members and guests at the golf course. This is a front-line position that requires a high level of customer service, professionalism, and a proactive attitude. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the golf course, ensuring a great experience from arrival to departure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting & Assisting: Greet all members and guests upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Assist with the unloading and loading of golf bags from vehicles onto golf carts.
  • Cart & Range Management: Prepare and stage golf carts for play, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and fully charged. Maintain the cleanliness and drivability of the support vehicles including the picker, work truck and beverage carts. Manage the driving range by loading, collecting and washing golf balls, and maintaining a neat and organized practice area.
  • Player Support: Answer questions about the course, conditions and its amenities.
  • Facility Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, club house, and teaching academy and surrounding property.
  • Event Support: Set up tents, move portable tables and chairs, put up temporary hole signs
  • Safety & Compliance: Operate golf carts and other equipment in a safe manner. Adhere to all club policies and procedures. Maintain professional appearance.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience at a golf course or in a customer service environment is preferred but not required. Basic equipment maintenance skills (e.g., minor repairs to golf carts, range equipment) are a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. A keen eye for detail is essential to maintain a professional and pristine environment. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. Basic computer skills and smartphone skills required.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Availability: Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A flexible schedule is often necessary. A minimum of 5 shifts per week.
  • Credentials: Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.

  • Compensation: Hourly, including opportunities for gratuities (tips) from members and guests.
  • Benefits: Shift meal, staff uniform, limited golf privileges, discounts on merchandise and food.
